Guess what Bacheha, in case you didn't catch me on MPB Radio I went to Iran this summer fo rthe first time in 30 years and it was totally awesome...I cried leaving this time too...so many friends even after 30 years it was unbelievable...please check out the photo albums on my website at www.zirzameen.com I love Iran more than ever. Everyone was sooooo kkind to me, even taxi drivers did not want to take my money...just like the very first time I went when I was only 16 I left with more money than when I arrived. I looked up the three apartments I had lived in in the 70's in Tehran. It was just amazing and I met the 32 year old daughter of the lady with the hired guns who saved me from my hostage situation during the revolution. My heroine died of heart attack 7 years ago unfortunately but her daughter and her family were so excited to see me esp because I found her long lost brother in the USA who had been separated from her mom in a divorce when he was only 8 months old and raised in LA by his grandparents...the sister was only 2 when I saw her last...I used to feed her and take her on walks...this is such an incredible story I have been pitching it to the Oprah Winfrey Show and Ellen and Tyra but so far no response...it's about Iran...anyway I am now helping promote the film "Hot Tea, Cool Conversation" about an American college kid from SF traveling around Iran three years ago...you have got to see it...man it made me cry and want to hop back on the next Air France....

I like MPB because most of the members are young and that makes me feel young too. Youth can also be a state of mind like believing in the future, life's possibilities and a better world for everyone!

We just have to get a whole lot smarter about who we pick as leaders...If you love Iran please vote against McCain and Bimbo Palin who thinks the Iraq War is God's plan...yeah right maybe the God of War. Meanwhile I do believe that life is definately worth celebrating so to all you party animals...more power to you...
