Im not a cheap person AT ALL but im starting to think im way too nice to people sometimes. Im SO fuckinn fed up with driving EVERYONE around all the time and you know no1 EVER OFFERS TO CHIP IN FOR GAS MONEY. Not that id ever let anyone pay for my gas either but its the thought that counts and its gay.

In the RARE occasions that my friends drive i buy them food/coffee/chip in becasue i feel bad but does anyone every do that  for me..NO! And i dont do it because i expect anything back ive just been brought up like that but why is no1 nice enough to even think of doing that especially since im always driving when we go clubbing so i never get to drink and im always taking care of all the drunkies. Gosh.

You're not alone. Few people have any sense of courtesy and consideration these days - But that's no reason for you to lower your principles, standards for yourself etc (not that i think you will). At least what's revealing about all of this is who your real friends are, what kind of character the people you hang out with have and how much they must value you and what you do for them - I dont think most of these friends of yours are deliberately taking advantage of you - but they are - they're just too stupid or clueless to realize it. That's the difference between you, and them.... And thats something which should at least, make you feel better about yourself inside.

Altho of course thats not gonna be any consolation for when your pockets are stretched for 'gas' money and drinks  - So you have every right to one day, drop em' a hint about all this - If not a blatant statement

aw that made me feel a little better inside but im still angry lol. I know their not doing it purposely but its just annoying and i DIDD drop a hint..many hints actually. i told them how im fed up with driving all the time and how if we wanna go out they can drive or we can just take a taxi but no1 gets it. Its not really all my friends its just a select few but its def. making me realize a lot of things about them.

oh life's so hard these days. all i pay for is gas and food, and i'm going broke. i wish gas and food could pay for itself. *sigh*

I feel you guys. I'm generous and often pay/treat my friends (you name it).

Now the question you have to ask is why do we do it? We want people to like us? We are afriad to hurt peoples feelings? It is cultural? I think it's a few of these things.

More recently, I've tried to stop spending on people and instead donate my money for charities or my own investments. I mean, people should chip in,  but you have to let them know too, or just be blunt, or quit giving them rides.

i drive a stolen car so it doesnt matter for me....

those r persians side  effects  that ur suffering from niloo...i think we all have some...when u go out spend money for friends...or never ask them for ask money even tho they do most of the times.....i was like that once...not as much anymore...

Just be straight with your friends, if they get upset then they weren't true friends in the first place.  I am kind, generous and loyal friend but only to a certain point when or if it start p***ing me off i'll just be up front.
