sum pple say its (EEeeran) and some says its (I raaan). i wuz tryin to learn the correct pronunciation ....So help???which one is the correct pronunciation for our beautiful country??

 It's Ee-run, and if you ever have to, then OK, I-ran (though that's kind of redneckish), but it's NEVER Ee-ran lol.  Only the Persians who are trying to fit in say that...they're still pronouncing it wrong lol.

 Well, I-Ran is STILL wrong, but if you HAVE to, fine...but really...as a Persian and Iranian, you should pronounce it Ee-run..well it actually sounds more like Ee-rohn when you say it lol.
