Everytime I watch clips on youtube about Iran there are always clips on the right side about Iranians being Aryans and related to the Germans. My guess is people making those foolish and stupid clips are young teenage Iranians abroad. Let me state some facts for all those goosâlehs who bring shame to our ancient ancestors:

The Aryans were the Proto-Indo-Iranians people who lived on the Iranian plateau. Some of them moved to North West India (hence the name Indo-Iranians). Aryan means “noble” or “master”, drived from Avestân: Âiryânem Vâejâh (hence the old name for Iran: Âiryânâm, and later Eirân). The term “Aryan” was also used by Iranic people to distinguish themselves from the Semetic people (e.g. arabs, Assyrians) – first recorded inscription ever using the term “Aryan” is Dariush the Greates inscription at Behistun in Iran. The Aryans are the modern Iranians forefathers. This is evident from linguistical, archaeological and modern genealogical investigations. The Germans are the descendens of the proto-Germanic people whom probably were the descendens of the Nordic people (from Scandinavia). In other words, the Germans and Iranians are NOT related in general. A group of the Aryans were the Alans (whom were a group of the Sâkâs – the ancestors to many modern Russians – one them being Stalin!!!) who moved to east Europe and were mixed with the Slavic people (the ancestors of modern Polish, (probably) Bulgarians, Ukrains, Croatians among other). In late 19^th century many theorists believed that the Germans were the direct descendens of the Aryans – this was based on linguistical grounds (German and other European languages being a part of the Indo-European languages – related to Indo-Aryan (Indo-Iranian) languages). Little by little this turned into racial classifications, the Aryans being the “master race” and this “race” was classified into “pure” and “non-pure”, pure being the blond and blue eyed people. History and science have shown that all this were bullshits. The Germans ARE NOT related to the Iranians in general (although some of them MAY have some “Alanian blood”). The Iranians are the descendans of the Aryans - NOT  the Germans. Being Aryan HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY MASTER RACE! So please, stop sucking up to the Germans and bring shame to our great forefathers

It’s truly embarrassing. First we have this lunatic who says the holocaust never happened and now we have these stupid teen Iranians making foolish videos about Iranians and relate us to braindead nazis. Even more embarrassing is all their suck ups to the Germans – and we’re not even related. We should be proud of what we are and whom we are, not what these people would like us to be. Yes we do have blue eyed and blond Iranians. And probably our ancestors were “whiter” than most Iranians today. But being Aryan means being noble: respecting all mankind. Tolerance towards other races and other religions. Gender equality. This is how our great ansectors saw themselves and hence designate themselves thus. The nazi image of the Aryans are the exact opposit image of what Aryans truly means, although they stole all their symbols and their "heil" from our ancestors. They tried to copy but they failed

We part of the same language group for gods sake, and we share many similiar traits. Iranian blood is close to danish, and italian blood. WWII Race charts show iranians as "aryan".

Language groups have nothing to do with race! “WWII Race charts show iranians as "aryan".”??? Iranians are the descendens of the ancient Aryans, NOT the Germans – this is a fact. Being Aryan has nothing to do with race - fact. Reza Shah-e Bozorg wasn’t a Nazi but he would rather co-operate with the Nazis than the Britsh who were consuming and strangling Iran. In fact many Iranians back then were hoping for a Nazi victory in WWII, since the allies were raping Iran and Iranian oil (the British through their oil company, aka Anglo-Iranian Oil Company and later known as BP = “British” Petroleum and the Great Game), not because they were Nazis. I suggest you visit Germany sometime and talk to a neo-Nazi. Tell him you’re an Aryan. You know what he’ll do to you? He’ll smash your head to the ground and call you a verdammet ausländer. Stop the suck ups to the Germans. Just be proud of your ancient Aryan forefathers whom respected all races. The Germans just wanted to copy us.

I agree with you 100%, I mean it's okay to teach your kids about your heritage but sometimes you need to just stfup.

I would rather use the word Iranic rather then aryan,even tho Iranians are mostly european blooded,I just consider myself persian and that's it, if you want to make videos about Iranians please make some videos about persian/Iranian inventions and contributions to modern civilization.

Even tho we are "ARyan" I would teach my kids about Iranian and  about persian history,culture,identity not this "aryan" crap.

Search for the DNA study "Iran Tricontinental Nexus for Y_Chromosome Driven Migration" if you want to know who the ancestors of Iranians were and who they were related to. Its based on genetic testing on samples of Iranians from across the country.

Persian Immortal is right. Aryan is definitely only referring to people from Iran. Just because we have similar traits like eye and hair color does not mean we are of the same race or blood even.

Those videos on youtube and websites posting that misguided information are just groups of rascists and people that want to preserve their blood line coming together to discourage the new wave of interracial relationships and breeding.

Most of them are just skin heads following Hitlers ideology without even researching to see if any of it was true.
